When did you start teaching English to groom youth in Dhar! How many youths have been benefited from LA Academy!
It was all started with a passion for giving to the youth of Dhar. In other words, it was giving back to your Janmabhumi that is your birthplace. After abandoning my corporate job I was in search of a related business a passion for being an entrepreneur was there in the mind that led me to start up my new venture. Indeed it was more close to educational startup. I saw that people were lagging back in language and specifically English so the very onset of it I started an English academy but later on the paradigm was shifted, so along with English, I started giving life coaching to the students, therefore, it was a new concept of English with life coaching in my town.
Hundreds and Thousands of students were benefited from this academy directly or indirectly and still, youth are coming in order to get their lives goal.
Can you share a few names and their passion, who really made LA academy proud on national and global level?
Miss Anjali Mohite, HRD manager HPCL, is a blogger and good author.
Miss Amruta Joshi, Freelance Dancer.
Miss Shikha Chouhan, Prof. of Management in America.
Mr Rajendra Patidar is a research fellow at Baltimore University USA. He belongs to Tirla a small village near Dhar, Madhya Pradesh
Mr Vijit Jain. Honour of Kalpavraksha career institute. IIT passout.
Abuzar Gaffer. IIT+IES qualified. He’s a son of a pan wala. Abdul Wahib Khan. NIIT + IIM Ranchi passout . He had a passion for entrepreneurship in 6 th class.
Miss Priya Agrawal. She is multifaceted personality. She is a travel blogger. She is a vegan. Pursuing her carrier in IIM after the age of 30 in Ahemadabad.
Mr. Mohan Maaru. Became a Tehsildar from a very humble background. He taught tuition for survival.
How your passion for changing lives is helping you achieve your purpose of life?
As I mentioned earlier that my passion was helping people to achieve their goals. Therefore I have always been passionate about inspiring others. And undoubtedly, this was, is and will always be the purpose of my life. I love and live motivating all who come to me. I do not believe in affected mannerism or simply I am not a professional speaker. I guide youth not only with the experiences I have collected over the years but from the conscience. I teach what I practice.
How teaching English language is changing other’s life?
Since we are living in a country which is 6th largest economy of the world the importance of English cannot be ignored. We are a global player and if we want to make our presence in the global market we need to have the knowledge of English. Students today are way too competitive and they don’t want any stone unturned. They themselves work hard to prove their mettle. In addition to that, the world is rather more technological and to win over this challenge English is a major too. Our neighbour country China is developing with tremendous speed but its youth lack in English is the reason for its limit within its boundaries. Whereas Indian youth equip themselves with the knowledge of English can be more approachable than their Chinese counterparts.
How does it feel to be a role model in grooming youth for betterment of Dhar?
I would rather be a friend of youth than to be a role model. I love to be remembered as a friend for life instead of a mentor or a role model. Role models can be changed, friends remain forever.
Have you thought of teaching foreign language other than English! Do you think learning more foreign languages can help in development of Dhar City! How ?
Yes, we tried. Around 3 years back we started a French language programme under the supervision of certain experts from other part of the world one was Jyotika Singh from Mauritius and another one was Gana Sou, Senegal [Africa], but I think it will take more time to develop the interest of any language other than English in such a small town like Dhar. On the other hand, we are optimistic about creating more awareness to learn other languages.
Indeed learning more foreign languages can help the city to grow more. As we should not confine ourselves within our own boundaries rather we should open more windows to let other cultures enter our realm.
Do you believe following your passion has made contribution in development of Dhar city?
As I already mentioned that my passion was to develop the passion of youth. No country, state or city can be developed by the contribution of the single person. It’s teamwork. The nation remains people die. Hence I have been also giving my contribution to the development of the city since the inception of my organization. There is no indispensable person everyone is equally participating in the development of his or her place. Therefore, I gave my 100% and am still giving.
Tell me something about your experience in Mandu, how will you describe Mandu in your words?
I love travelling, I explored different places, and yes Mandu is always in my list. I often visit this place and the most advantageous part of it is its proximity to the town. Mandu is a place where history falls in love with nature. The saga of king Baaz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati is still sung by the natives in this marvellous fortress. This place is also known as the city of joy, some Muslim rulers called this place Shadiabad. On one hand, this place witnessed the love story of Baaz Bahadur and Raani Roopmati and on the other hand, it fought many wars to save its glory. Hundreds of ruins tell the golden period of Mandu. This place is the major tourist attraction across the globe.
What were the things you noticed about Dhar and Mandu which most of the people didn’t noticed yet or pay attention to! What it lacks?
Connectivity is the major shortage for these two cities, Dhar has no railways since independence. While Mandu is a hilly area and it has close connect.
How much have you explored Mandu and what are the best things about the city with your experience?
Mandu is vast, it's mysterious, every time we go to Mandu we learn something new. The beauty story of Mandu cannot be described in few words. The monument called Jahaj Mahal [the ship palace] is a marvel of ancient architecture. It appears like a ship is standing or floating in the water. Then there is Hindola Mahal [swinging palace]says its past glory. The beauty Jumma Masjid [Jama] tells the glorious religious beliefs of the Mughals and there is Chaturbhuj Rama Temple that bore hundreds of attacks. The list is endless.
What contribution should Dhar people make to bring attention of foreign tourist and there by bring back glory to the heritage city Mandu?
A tourists place needs lots of basic amenities as well as wonderful infrastructure in order to get tourist attraction. So to bring the attention of the foreign tourists to the heritage city Mandu only governments role is not sufficient, indeed the natives play a huge role too. Every single person contributes directly or indirectly for the same as it is a win-win situation. Certain things which are requisite which can only be provided by natives, such as proper communication, not all foreign tourists speak, knowledge of multiple languages can be more advantageous. Some languages are very common pan world French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese.
Means and modes of transportation: In order to visit site scenes multiple modes of transportation should be available.
Food and beverages; different people from different countries have different tastes. Providing them with the food of their choice can be a great help.
Shopping is a great choice by foreign tourist. Selling of more Indian things can attract more foreign tourists.
Accommodation; apart from some government hotels and resorts Mandu doesn’t have good accommodation facilities. Natives can invest in this arena.
The cultural programs like Mandu Utsav should frequently be organized to attract foreign tourists. This will surely help to get more tourists.
What reasons do you think that Mandu could not become a world heritage site although it has been in the nomination list since 1998?
The answer is very simple all above stated points are not being fulfilled so how can you expect a great tourist footfall
How your passion can bring of foreign tourist in Mandav! What would you do?
I belong to the language trainer community. I would insist people learn more languages for better communication with foreign tourists. As we started a French class earlier we can create more French translators and communicators thereby attract more French tourists. And the same for other languages too.
Would you agree if Dhār city should be known as the City of Fossils in the world for the dinosaur fossils found here! If not “City of Fossils”, what title should be the identity of Dhar on global level?
Dhar City has a status of heritage city and it is also known as the city of fossils too. I agree that it is not that much famous by the second name but yes I have its name. Making it famous at the global level is not an easy task, there is a museum named Ashmadha which is famous for its fossils bank but it requires a lot of improvement. More research and development teams should work here to collect more information about fossils only then we can expect that it will be famous by the name of the city of fossils.
What do you think who are the important people contributed the most in development of Dhar in past 20 years?
As I said that every person is equally responsible for the development of any place. Dhar is no exception here to a great many people contributed some of them are:
Shree Vikram Verma, Ex MLA, CABINET MINISTER BJP Government.
Mrs Nina Verma MLA, Dhar
Dr.Madhu Saxena former CMO municipality, Dhar. Made Dhar no.1 in cleanliness movement.
Shree Sudheer Verma Badminton coach .
Sameer Verma International Badminton player.
His brother Sourabh Verma.
Dr.Rajesh Rajoura IAS FORMER District Collector Of Dhar, who startedGyandoot Project.
Gayatri Parihar. Director of Vasudha Vikas NGO.
Sandeep Sharma [hasya kavi] National Poet [in comedy]
Dr.Dependra Sharma. Director of Bhoj Foundation, and District Convener of INTACH.
What is your message to the people of Dhar?
My message to the people of Dhar is to work hard and develop the things which can make their city proud.
